"Betsy's Flag" evolved after I heard on the news that a little boy was told by his school to remove his American flag from his bike! The next day, he was escorted to school by veterans and motorcyclists with flags on their bikes. What a wonderful patriotic response! I responded by creating "Betsy's Flag" to remind us of Betsy Ross and the history of the American flag.
